Position Summary
Position Title: AZ Shunt Driver

Location (Start Point): Oshawa, On

Delivery Area: Local

Shift Schedule: Evenings

Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles across local routes

Operate Shunt tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Moving around 15-25 shunt trailers per shift using a shunt truck

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights,



and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.

Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures

Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required

Core Requirements (All Driver Roles)

Valid AZ driver's license

Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada

Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract

Verifiable recent commercial driving experience within the past 1 year

Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement

Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions

Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach

Role-Specific Requirements

Minimum 1 of verifiable AZ driving experience
