Lead impactful initiatives in child intervention as the Director within the Ministry of Children and Family Services in Northern Alberta. Oversee diverse programs, guiding teams to enhance safety and support for vulnerable youth.
As a Director in this full-time permanent role, you will manage multiple programs, including caregiver services and contracts. This position involves leading performance measures, making high-risk decisions, and ensuring alignment with regional goals and legislative requirements. Your leadership will influence strategic planning while fostering strong collaborations with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational leadership and oversight for child intervention services
• Implement performance measures and quality improvement initiatives
• Support high-risk decision-making for child safety matters
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational priorities
• Reflect Indigenous perspectives in service delivery and planning
Requirements:
• University graduation in Social Work or related field
• Six years of progressively responsible experience
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams
• Extensive knowledge of child intervention legislation and practices
• Solid skills in stakeholder management and consultation
