Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advocacy for MKO citizens interacting with the justice system
• Explain court proceedings and clients' rights to ensure comprehension
• Liaise between the Court and MKO communities for effective support
• Assist with referrals to community-based justice programs as needed
• Maintain records for tracking service delivery and outcomes
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency
• 2-5 years' experience in social or justice services
• Fluent in Cree, Dene, Oji-Cree, or related Indigenous languages
• Valid Manitoba Drivers License and reliable vehicle
• Strong initiative and teamwork capabilities
