The Role
The chosen candidate will assume a pivotal position of Veterinary Medical Director, overseeing the highest standards of medical quality and leading a team of skilled veterinary professionals.This role focuses significantly on mentorship and training, particularly for new graduates and internationally trained vets.Specific responsibilities include:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining medical protocols and quality assurance initiatives
Actively practicing veterinary medicine to manage a caseload alongside leadership duties
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory veterinary standards
Requirements
Must possess an active veterinary license in Ontario or be eligible to apply
Minimum of 5 years of clinical veterinary experience
Strong leadership, mentorship, and training skills
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities
