We are enhancing our physician panel for Longshore cases, specifically seeking experienced Audiologists. Perform independent medical examinations and comprehensive peer reviews to support the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA). You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with documentation standards while providing timely written reports that showcase your analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-person, objective medical examinations for Longshore cases
• Perform thorough peer reviews of medical records
• Deliver detailed and timely written documentation
• Ensure compliance with LHWCA standards and requirements
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
• State certification in Audiology (ABA)
• AMA 6th Edition Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Prior Longshore IME experience preferred, but not required
