We are sharing a specialised consulting prospect for experienced Canadian personal finance professionals with expertise in banking, wealth management, financial advising, accounting, tax planning, and household financial workflows to contribute to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives. Selected professionals will complete realistic Canadian personal-finance workflows, evaluate AI-generated financial guidance, interpret financial documentation, and help develop rigorous assessment criteria across areas such as registered accounts, mortgages, savings, and personal taxation. No prior AI experience is required; practical Canadian finance expertise is the primary qualification.
Key Responsibilities Canadian Personal Finance Workflows Complete realistic household financial workflow tasks
Apply professional judgement to Canadian personal-finance scenarios
Work with RRSP, TFSA, and FHSA-related financial decisions
Evaluate mortgage, savings, and household financial planning workflows
Explain financial decisions clearly in written form
Tax & Registered Account Analysis Apply knowledge of CRA personal tax filing requirements
Interpret registered-account rules and contribution considerations
Evaluate relevant tax deadlines and household financial obligations
Review financial documentation for accuracy and relevance
Remain current with applicable Canadian tax and savings regulations
AI Financial Guidance Evaluation Review AI-generated personal-finance guidance
Assess outputs against established evaluation rubrics
Identify inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading financial recommendations
Evaluate whether guidance appropriately reflects Canadian financial rules
Provide concise and constructive feedback to improve output quality
Rubric & Evaluation Development Support creation of evaluation rubrics for personal-finance tasks
Refine grading criteria for complex financial scenarios
Define standards for accuracy, completeness, and practical usefulness
Identify edge cases requiring additional evaluation guidance
Contribute professional judgement to scoring and assessment frameworks
Financial Documentation & Secure Workflow Review Verify and interpret household financial documentation
Demonstrate how consumers and advisors manage financial records
Complete approved workflows using securely linked Canadian bank accounts where required
Ensure personal information is redacted before materials are used downstream
Apply strong privacy and documentation standards throughout project work
Ideal Profile 4+ years of hands-on experience in Canadian banking, wealth management, financial advising, accounting, or tax planning
Strong understanding of Canadian household financial planning
Practical expertise with RRSPs, TFSAs, and FHSAs
Familiarity with mortgages, savings strategies, and personal taxation
Robust knowledge of CRA personal tax filing processes
Ability to review and interpret financial documentation accurately
Experience applying professional judgement to complex financial scenarios
Exceptional written communication skills
Ability to explain technical financial concepts to different audiences
Experience developing rubrics, scoring criteria, or assessment guidelines is advantageous
Experience reviewing AI or model-generated outputs is advantageous
Active Canadian credentials such as CFP, QAFP, CIM, PFP, or CPA are highly valued
CFA or CTP designations are also advantageous
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Comfortable securely connecting personal Canadian bank accounts through Plaid where required, with all personally identifiable information redacted before downstream use
No prior AI-training or model-evaluation experience is required

Compensation: $90–$110/hour
Work will involve Canadian personal-finance workflows, financial-document review, AI-output evaluation, and rubric development
Assignments may cover registered accounts, mortgages, savings plans, household financial decisions, and CRA personal tax filing
Securely linked Canadian bank accounts may be used for authentic workflow tasks
Personally identifiable information must be removed before any material is used for downstream project purposes
Contributors should remain current with Canadian tax, savings, and registered-account regulations relevant to assigned work
Project scope, evaluation criteria, and financial scenarios may evolve depending on project requirements
Work must be completed without using confidential, proprietary, client-specific, account-identifying, or otherwise restricted financial information belonging to any employer, financial institution, client, or other third party
