The Roofer & Caulker role is critical within UBC’s Architectural Trades Department, aimed at maintaining and repairing roofs efficiently. Ideal candidates will possess trade certification to journeyperson level and have at least five years of experience. A valid BC Driver's license and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are essential for this position, as you will work with various stakeholders and possibly guide apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform roof inspections and submit repair recommendations
• Troubleshoot leaks and execute re-caulking repairs




• Install caulking materials on various surfaces
• Communicate with customers to ensure service delivery
• Support apprentices and monitor their work as necessary

Requirements:
• BC trade certification as a Roofer
• Minimum five years relevant experience
• Valid BC Driver's license
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
