Contribute to children's services with NEOFACS as an Investigation and Assessment Worker in Kirkland Lake or Englehart. Your role involves providing critical prevention and protection services while working flexible hours.
This full time, twelve-month contract position calls for a dedicated professional with an MSW or BSW, or a relevant college diploma. Experience in youth and family services is a plus as you perform risk assessments and create protective plans. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with a willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide preventive and protection services to children and families
• Perform risk assessments and develop protection plans
• Complete necessary documentation for case assessments
• Collaborate with families to maintain safety and well-being
• Interpret and apply relevant legislative requirements
Requirements:
• MSW or BSW preferred; College diploma considered
• Experience with children, youth, and families is an asset
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
• Must possess a G2 or valid G driver’s license
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel
