We are currently seeking a Senior Housekeeper to join our team. This position combines hands-on housekeeping duties with additional leadership responsibilities to support the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
The Senior Housekeeper will work closely with the Front Desk team to ensure guest rooms, cottages, villas, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness for arriving guests.
What You Will Be Doing Cleaning guest rooms, villas, and cottages according to resort housekeeping standards.
Ensuring bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and living spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stocked.
Cleaning and maintaining public spaces including the lobby, hallways, washrooms, and other common areas.
Replenishing guest amenities and housekeeping supplies in rooms and public areas.
Reporting maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department promptly.
Ensuring rooms are prepared efficiently to meet guest arrival times.
Leadership and Coordination Acting as the primary daytime contact between housekeeping and the front desk team regarding room readiness, priorities, and guest needs.
Coordinating daily room assignments and scheduling housekeeping staff based on occupancy and arrivals.
Conducting periodic inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure resort cleanliness standards are maintained.
Assisting with training new housekeeping staff when required.
Inventory and Supplies Monitoring inventory levels of housekeeping supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
Ordering cleaning supplies and housekeeping materials as required to maintain adequate stock levels.
Ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly.
What You Will Bring Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort operations.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently while also supporting and coordinating a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with front desk and maintenance staff.
A positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.
Reliability and flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
