Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play a key role in financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and business partnering. This is an excellent prospect for a CPA or CPA-track professional looking to make an impact in a team-oriented, growth-oriented workplace.

What You'll Do
Own fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, reconciliations, and physical inventory reviews.
Manage lease accounting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Lead reporting, forecasting, and analysis for capital assets and Cap Ex.
Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
Support audit, tax, and sales tax compliance activities for Canadian entities.
Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support key business decisions.
Collaborate with Accounting, AP, AR, and FP& A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Drive process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives across finance.
