Cloverdale Paint is seeking an ambitious individual for a full-time position with full-time availability at our facility in Winnipeg, MB.
We are looking for someone to work full-time from Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week.
Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.
The Production Supervisor leads daily shift operations at the Winnipeg manufacturing facility to meet production, quality and service targets. They provide hands‑on supervision on the plant floor, support employees and maintain safe, organized and efficient operation. This role includes, but is not limited to, achieving the budgeted financial objectives, service goals, staffing, training, timeliness and quality of paint products for internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES Supervision
Coordinate shift activities, staffing and workflow to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
Enforce health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures
Train, onboard and coach employees; communicate expectations and support individual development
Create an atmosphere of cooperation between workforce and management
Provide hands‑on leadership, motivation and supervision of the day‑to‑day duties
Ensure that all team members are aware of all Cloverdale Paint Policies and Procedures and that they are followed
Manage annual vacation scheduling and weekly timecard approvals
Work with health and safety committee in making sure all safety policies are followed
Ensure clear communication and effective handoffs between shifts
Operations
Responsible for meeting or exceeding production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards
Determine daily production priorities and schedules in conjunction with the Plant Manager
Monitor raw material inventory, coordinate deliveries, and support unloading and storage to meet production needs
Assist with paint manufacturing and filling activities as required, and complete production quality checks and records
Apply 5S and lean principles,
recommend process improvements and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain housekeeping standards and safeguard the building, operations, equipment, products and employees
Ensure that all orders for both internal and external customers are accurate and delivered as promised
Recommend improved efficiencies to ensure safety and production standards are met and lead CI projects
Manage vacation scheduling, approve weekly timecards and maintain accurate operational records
Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing, paint production or quality control are strong assets
Post‑secondary education, process engineering knowledge or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification are assets
Strong leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accurate record keeping
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
Forklift, reach truck and walkie rider certification, along with WHMIS and TDG training
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lb, using appropriate equipment or assistance as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability work in a manufacturing environment, including standing and walking for extended periods
Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safe work procedures
Six Sigma and Lean qualification an asset
