As a Meat Cutter / Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing standard cuts of meat, ensuring product quality, maintaining high sanitation standards, and delivering exceptional service in a rapid-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requirements

Ensure the quality, freshness, and proper presentation of meat products

Use knives, saws, cleavers, and other tools to perform precise meat cutting

Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the work area

Package, label, and store meat products according to company and health regulations

Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and ordering supplies

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients (if applicable)

Follow all safety procedures and adhere to company policies and government regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or in a similar role

Knowledge of different meat cuts and preparation techniques

Ability to work with sharp tools and heavy equipment safely

Familiarity with sanitation and food safety standards

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Basic understanding of English (reading and communication)

Experience:



Minimum 1–2 years of experience in meat cutting or butchery

Experience in a retail, grocery store, or meat processing facility is a strong asset

Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of meat preparation, safety, and hygiene procedures

Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Adaptable to fast-paced environments and tight schedules

Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
