This role emphasizes teaching with a diverse set of methods tailored to engage students in clean energy topics. As an instructor, you will develop curriculum and assessments while actively supporting students' academic and career paths. Your involvement in meetings and committees will strengthen college connections and uphold VCC policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach using lectures, demonstrations, and group projects
• Develop curriculum and prepare diverse teaching materials
• Assess student performance and provide detailed feedback
• Support students with program advice and career guidance
• Maintain stewardship of classroom equipment and resources
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Indigenous, Environmental Studies, or related field
• Experience with Indigenous communities and knowledge systems
• Familiarity with clean energy and environmental stewardship
• Knowledge of educational pedagogy and Indigenous practices
• Ability to foster ethical engagement with Indigenous knowledge
