Become a Regional Community Services Facilitator with the BC SPCA in Vancouver, BC. Engage locally to support community needs and enhance animal wellbeing through collaboration and outreach.
In this full-time, hybrid position, you will facilitate vital connections between the BC SPCA and the Lower Mainland communities. You'll build partnerships with local organizations, manage volunteer efforts, and oversee community services that benefit both animals and their guardians. Your role will support a compassionate approach to animal welfare while making a lasting impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build partnerships with social service agencies and veterinary clinics
• Coordinate community events enhancing animal-human connections
• Ensure effective onboarding and management of volunteers
• Support the BC SPCA Community Spay & Neuter program
• Analyze community needs for better service delivery
Requirements:
• 5-8 years experience in social work or community development
• Solid relationship-building and customer service skills
• Knowledge of equity, diversity, and trauma-informed practices
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
