Independent Sales Agent - Ontario | Outdoor Apparel

WAYMARK is a European outdoor apparel brand specializing in technical hiking and outdoor pants. With an established retail presence across Europe, we are currently expanding in Canada and looking for an experienced Independent Sales Representative to develop our presence specifically in Ontario.

The representative will be responsible for developing WAYMARK throughout Ontario, introducing our collections to independent outdoor retailers, specialty stores, buying groups, and other relevant accounts across the province.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and manage relationships with outdoor and sporting goods retailers throughout Ontario.
Present seasonal WAYMARK collections and generate preseason orders.
Prospect and open recent retail accounts across the province.
Attend relevant trade shows, buying shows, and industry events when appropriate.
Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective accounts.
Provide market feedback regarding products, pricing, competitors, and opportunities in Ontario.
Work closely with the WAYMARK international sales team to grow the brand's presence in the territory.

This is an independent, commission-based sales representation opportunity,



particularly suitable for an established Ontario-based sales representative or agency already working with complementary outdoor, sporting goods, footwear, or apparel brands.

Requirements
Previous experience as an independent sales representative in the outdoor, sporting goods, apparel, footwear, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of the Ontario outdoor and sporting goods retail market.
Existing relationships with specialty outdoor and/or sporting goods retailers in Ontario are strongly preferred.
Established network of retail accounts across the province.
Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to independently prospect, present collections, and manage accounts.
Willingness to travel throughout Ontario and attend relevant industry events.
Experience representing complementary non-competing brands is welcome.
