Senior Project Manager – Education in the USA or Canada
Cloud for Good is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to independently lead complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations ($1M+) for Higher Education organizations. You will own delivery end to end, leading a team of Cloud for Good consultants (10+), client staff, and partners across workstreams such as platform build, data migration, integrations, reporting, and change management.
A Senior Project Manager serves as the day-to-day delivery leader and trusted advisor for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Successful candidates lead complex technology implementations with cross-functional teams and deliver measurable business outcomes to their clients.
Successful candidates bring a proven record of delivering large Salesforce implementations and recovering at-risk engagements. They combine strong project governance with the leadership skills needed to build trust with client executives and lead high-performing teams. Salesforce experience, ideally including Education Cloud (EDC), and a commitment to advancing our clients’ missions are essential.

- Lead project initiation, kickoff, and discovery, including a formal discovery readout to client leadership
- Establish and maintain governance: project plan, RACI, communication and escalation plans, RAID log, and deliverable register
- Facilitate steering committees, phase-gate reviews, and decisions with client leadership
Lead Delivery
- Define team roles, allocations, and coverage across Cloud for Good, client, and partner resources, and coordinate third-party vendors

- Plan and lead testing, defect triage, and quality reporting
- Manage the transition to ongoing support
- Surface follow-on opportunities and support scoping of future phases of work
- Mentor consultants and contribute reusable practices to Cloud for Good’s delivery methodology
Manage Scope, Budget, and Risk
- Own the project budget, burn, and forecasts; address variances before they become problems
- Manage scope against the contract and develop and negotiate change orders
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks; when a project is at risk, re-baseline and restore momentum and client confidence
Lead People and Stakeholders
- Serve as the day-to-day client lead and first escalation point; build trusted relationships with client project leaders and executives
- Deliver weekly status to client and Cloud for Good leadership, tailored to each audience
- Monitor team workload and morale, and foster a respectful, high-performing team
