Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Tasks Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat Wrap and package prepared meats Remove bones from meat Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers Train meat cutters Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products Ensure safety procedures are followed Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Support for newcomers and refugees Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees Support for youths Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Support for Indigenous people Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
