RQ11635 - Software Developer - ETL - Senior ‘Employment Ontario’ is one of the major programs deliveredby the Employment and Training Division of the Ontario Ministry of Training,Colleges and Universities. Employment Ontario helps the citizens of Ontariogain the training, skills and experience to achieve their goals.

The Employment Ontario Information Systems (EOIS) is themajor IT system that supports the administration of these programs. Applicationsubsystems under EOIS include CaMS (Case Management System), Service ProviderlifeCycle (SPL), EO Self Service (EOSS), APPR (Apprenticeship), OJG (OntarioJob Grant), and APPR AOL (Apply OnLine).

The operating Environment includes JEE, CURAM, CrystalReports, Oracle SQL/PL SQL, Power BI, Oracle Database, Business ObjectsUniverse and Dashboarding, WebI, Bursting technologies, and Informatica ETL.

Responsibilities:

This request is for strong developers to help in designingand developing data warehousing, BI, reporting and analytics.

Perform analysis, design, developing, unit testing, defectfixing and other necessary tasks in a data warehousing and BI environment inOracle PL/SQL

Design, develop and test Informatica mappings

Develop ETL scripts to transfer and transform data from OLTPdatabase to Data Warehouse and Data marts

Develop and maintain BOE reports

Communicate your progress clearly and timely to themanagement team

Must have skills in Crystal reports, Informatica, PowerBI and BOE reporting

General Skills:

Experience in programming and analysis; specialized softwarepackage support at the specified experience level

Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout theSoftware Development Life Cycle

Experience in structured methodologies for the development,design, implementation and maintenance of applications

Experience in design, code, test, debug and documentapplications

Experience in the use of object and/or third generationlanguage development tools

Experience in one or more programming languages

Experience in application design, latest design patters,deployment and troubleshooting





Experience with relational and hierarchical databasetechnologies

Experience in the use of information retrieval packagesusing query languages
