Support individuals in crisis as a Crisis Support Worker. Assess needs, provide intervention, and offer resources to clients in urgent situations while maintaining program standards.

This role involves evaluating individuals seeking assistance to ensure they meet program requirements. You will assess and provide support during crises, including mental health events and medical distress. Additional duties include facilitating client admission, providing ongoing support, and collaborating with team members to enhance service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate individual needs during crisis situations
• Provide intervention and immediate support services
• Admit and orient clients to shelter guidelines




• Facilitate effective communication with clients and colleagues
• Produce detailed documentation of incidents and interactions

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
• 1-2 years in Human Services or related discipline
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to exercise positive judgment under pressure
• Detail-oriented approach to tasks
