Steven's Bar-B-Q Restaurant is hiring an experienced Cook for our Markdale, Ontario location at 195 Toronto Street South. This is a permanent, full time position paying $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week. Language of work is English. Please note there are no benefits associated with this position.
Responsibilities: Plan menus and estimate food requirements
Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, specializing in Canadian and Mediterranean cuisines
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas and manage daily kitchen operations
Qualifications:



Minimum 2 years of experience working as a cook
Experience with Canadian and Mediterranean cuisines
Experience preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Reliable transportation (public transit is not available in this rural area)
No degree, certificate, or diploma required
