Job Title: Software Developer - ETL Location: Toronto Work Model: Onsite Duration: 6 months Extension: 1 Time Must Haves 5+ years' Experience with analysis, design, developing, unit testing, defect fixing and other necessary tasks in data warehousing, BI environment. 5+ years' experience in designing and developing Crystal reports, Power BI, and BOE reports 5+ years' experience in Designing, developing and testing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. 5+ years' experience in Designing, developing and testing in Informatica.

Experience with technology solutions and development methodologies Experience in analyzing and designing changes to existing web-based software solutions Complete knowledge of SDLC methodologies, e.g.

Agile development.

Experience in RDBMS design concepts.

Experience with Data Warehouse design, Reporting and ETL concepts.

Experience with Data Warehouse architecture, design, dimensional modeling, development and deployment of business intelligence systems.

Description / Responsibilities / Skills Description 'Employment Ontario' is one of the major programs delivered by the Employment and Training Division of the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

The Employment Ontario Information Systems (EOIS) is the major IT system that supports the administration of these programs.

The operating Environment includes JEE, CURAM, Crystal Reports, Oracle SQL/PL SQL, Power BI, Oracle Database, Business Objects Universe and Dashboarding, WebI, Bursting technologies, and Informatica ETL.





Responsibilities Develop ETL scripts to transfer and transform data from OLTP database to Data Warehouse and Data marts Develop and maintain BOE reports Communicate your progress clearly and timely to the management team General Skills Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle Experience in design, code, test, debug and document applications Experience in the use of object and/or third generation language development tools Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using query languages Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines Desirable Skills Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies Experience with middleware and gateways Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards Experience & Skill Set Requirements Communication & other Skills - 20% Ability to build positive working relationships.
