Chief Operating & Commercial Officer – Jamaica Location: Jamaica Salary: $90,000–$120,000 USD gross + bonus Benefits: Insurance, housing allowance considered, vacation, flights, relocation assistance & work permit We’re seeking an experienced Chief Operating & Commercial Officer to provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership for a growing business in Jamaica.

This is a senior C-suite prospect for a commercially driven leader who can combine big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, identify new opportunities and drive sustainable business growth.

The Role Lead the company’s commercial, operational and strategic direction with a high degree of autonomy.

Develop and execute business development, revenue growth and commercial strategies.

Identify and convert new business, investment, partnership and revenue opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, partners, government agencies and other key stakeholders.

Oversee portfolio and asset performance, identifying opportunities for growth, repositioning, expansion and increased returns.

Drive operational excellence, efficiency, service standards and profitability across the business.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and commercial performance.

Develop business cases, financial models and commercial assessments to support investment and strategic decisions.

Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

Oversee risk management, governance, compliance and long-term business planning.

Represent the company at industry, business and networking events to strengthen its market position and generate opportunities.

Introduce new ideas and elevated services that improve the customer experience,



operational performance and commercial results.

The Ideal Candidate 10+ years of senior leadership, C-suite, general management, commercial, business development, property, real estate, investment or related experience.

Proven track record of driving business development, revenue generation and commercial growth.

Strong ability to identify opportunities, open doors, build relationships and convert opportunities into measurable results.

Experience overseeing teams, budgets, operations, assets and external professional partners.

Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.

Property, real estate, portfolio, investment or asset management experience is highly advantageous.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Property Management or a related discipline; MBA or Master’s preferred.

Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, analytical and decision-making skills. A pragmatic, adaptable and flexible approach with the ability to find solutions and make sound decisions in changing environments. A natural problem solver who takes ownership and is comfortable working independently.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the creativity to identify new ideas, services and commercial opportunities.

Confident operating at Board level while remaining hands-on with execution.
