The successful candidate must hold at least a valid Government of Canada Reliability security clearance and have at least 24 months of experience performing financial audits , as well as 24 months of cumulative experience performing information technology and systems audits .

Candidates must possess a degree or diploma in finance or accounting , or a recognized professional audit or accounting designation , such as CA, CMA, CGA, CPA, CIA or CFE .

Candidates must also hold at least one of the following qualified designations: CPA, CPA-CA, CPA-CGA, CPA-CMA, CISA, CISM, CRISC or CISSP .
