Bunge is seeking for an Assistant Operator (replacement basin) for its Oilseed Processing facility located in Becancour.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Follows instructions on responsibilities and daily expectations from supervisor and is assigned to loading and unloading trucks and railcars.

Assists the production department in all tasks related to the preparation, extraction and refinery operations.

Performs grain sampling.

Promotes a protected working environment and behavior.

Identifies unsafe work environments and practices and notifies supervisors.

Performs housekeeping tasks and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Monitors equipment by doing regular check routines (TPM).

Ensures good communication with team members.

Assists supervisors and other team members.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent





Work experience in a facility (an asset)

Ability to work on 12 hour shifts (day and night).

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to use mobile equipment such as Forklift, wheel loader, shuttle wagon.

Ability to work in an environment with: Dust, chemicals, noise, working at heights, working in confined spaces, controlled and uncontrolled room temperature.

Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet deadlines.

The starting salary is $33.76/hour.

A premium of $2.50 applicable to all hours worked on the 12-hour shift schedule.

A comprehensive benefits program including extended health care, dental, vision care, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability, and long term disability commencing on the first of the month following a 90-day waiting period

Eligibility to participate in the RRSP plan after 6 months of employment, which includes a company matching contribution up to 6%
