We are seeking an experienced WordPress Engineer to own the technical architecture, theme development, and performance scaling of our web platforms. This is an engineering role for someone who builds structured, scalable, and secure systems. You will be responsible for creating custom layouts, managing advanced dynamic data structures, and ensuring exceptional backend performance and frontend site speed.

Core Responsibilities

Advanced Theme & Component Architecture: Develop custom theme layouts and responsive block patterns from scratch using clean, semantic code.

Dynamic Data Systems: Architect complex site structures utilizing Custom Post Types (CPTs), tax_queries, and relational database relationships.

Performance Engineering: Optimize web infrastructure to achieve flawless Core Web Vitals, diagnosing bottlenecks across database queries, caching layers, and asset delivery.

Contemporary CSS & Frontend Implementation: Implement responsive,



mobile-first design systems using utility-first or structured styling methodologies.

Workflow Integrity: Maintain staging-to-production workflows using robust version control, clean deployments, and security management.

Technical Requirements

WP Core Ecosystem: Deep familiarity with WordPress hooks (actions/filters), template hierarchy, custom database queries, and WP-CLI.

Dynamic Data & Visual Tooling: Hands‑on expertise with advanced visual mapping environments (e.g., Bricks Builder, Pinegrow) and dynamic mapping systems (e.g., Meta Box, JetEngine).

CSS Frameworks: Extensive experience working with modern, structured, or utility-first framework standards (e.g., Automatic.css, Tailwind).

Background in managing membership sites, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or complex e‑commerce setups.
