Make a difference as a Child Protection Worker with Family and Children’s Services Niagara. This full time role requires advocacy and case management skills to support families and ensure child safety.
In this position, you will provide essential services to children, youth, and families, performing assessments, delivering clinical treatment, and coordinating with community resources. Your role includes advocating for client needs and engaging in court proceedings related to child protection. This position is geared towards professionals committed to fostering safe and nurturing environments for children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide child protection services to families in crisis
• Develop clinical treatment plans for clients
• Collaborate with supervisors and community organizations
• Prepare for and participate in child protection court proceedings
• Support the matching process for foster placements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Humanities or Social Sciences
• Experience with families in crisis situations
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License required
• Authorized following Child Welfare Authorization Process
• Strong assessment and case planning skills
Contribute to safeguarding children and strengthening families with Family and Children’s Services Niagara.
