As a Technical Officer in Wafer Fabrication, you will help develop cutting-edge semiconductor technologies at NRC. The position involves operating and optimizing MOCVD processes, ensuring high safety and quality standards, and supporting various wafer fabrication activities. Collaborate with a talented team of specialists to drive technological advancements for Canadian industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate MOCVD reactors and monitor equipment performance
• Provide process support for prototype and pre-commercial production
• Analyze and interpret metrology data effectively
• Maintain a cleanroom environment and adhere to safety protocols
• Document process steps using the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Electronic Engineering Technology
• 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor fabrication
• Familiarity with chemical safety regulations
• Ability to work in a controlled Goods Zone
• Experience in wet-chemistry processing techniques
