Become a critical part of the People and Culture team at WorkSafeBC in Richmond as a Labour Relations and People Coordinator. This hybrid role requires robust organizational skills and experience in labour relations operations.
In this temporary 18-month role, you will support the Director of Labour Relations by providing essential administrative assistance. The responsibilities include managing grievance and arbitration activities, collective bargaining preparation, and maintaining records and reports. A high degree of accuracy and confidentiality is critical to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide confidential support to the Labour Relations team
• Coordinate grievance, arbitration, and collective bargaining activities
• Prepare and maintain correspondence and reports
• Manage meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
• Support labour relations reporting and records management
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
• Minimum three years' experience in an administrative role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in labour relations is a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
