Join WLFN's Education Team to support students from K4 to Grade 12, focusing on academic enhancement and personal growth. With a robust emphasis on Indigenous culture, you'll collaborate closely with Education Assistants, school counsellors, and teachers to create a supportive environment. Your organization and professionalism will help students thrive and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain contact with students, parents, and teachers
• Foster positive relationships to enhance student engagement
• Track student progress using MyEd/CIMS online programs
• Facilitate a safe and open learning climate
• Support students needing assistance to reach grade level
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years post-secondary training in relevant fields
• 6 months Youth and Family Worker experience
• Level one First Aid and Food Safe certifications
• Class 5 license required
