Commissionaires BC is currently hiring for Part Time Security Guard to work at a site in North Vancouver, BC.
Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday 2300 - 0730
Wage: $23.50
Some of your responsibilities include: Provide first class customer service to all visitors/staff
Monitor and control site access
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
Maintain close observation and awareness of site activities
Crowd management
Responding to potential protesters or media
Ensure detailed and clear documentation of any incidents, working with law enforcement as necessary
Act as the first responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols
Wearing the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - such as hard hats, steel toed boots and reflective vests
Escalating urgency matters and other significant concerns to the client as required
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Your Must Haves: Valid BC Security License
Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
Excellent English oral and written skills
Proven customer service experience
