Support students in the Introduction to Calculus and Vectors course (MAT-1339) as a Teaching Assistant. This in-person role focuses on 50 hours of direct student contact during the 2027 Winter Semester.
The University of Ottawa is seeking Teaching Assistants for the MAT-1339 course. To qualify, candidates must be students with a minimum of 30 credits in mathematics and statistics. Solid subject knowledge and commitment to student engagement are essential as successful applicants will help instruct small group discussions on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate discussions with students in designated time slots
• Assist in delivering content clearly and effectively
• Support students with questions related to course material
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with both faculty and students
Requirements:
