Job Description Providesactuarial support to senior management, Financial Services, and otherdepartments

Assistsin the development and refinement of actuarial methodologies, processes,and practices aligned with organizational goals and industry standards

Supportsthe optimization of estimation processes through technical analysis andprocess improvement initiatives

Contributesto the production and review of actuarial outputs, including liabilityvaluations, fee setting analyses, and sensitivity testing

Ensuresthe proper functioning and maintenance of actuarial systems andapplications

Participatesin the preparation and enhancement of actuarial reports and documentation

Collaborateswith Finance and other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveryof actuarial data and insights

Assistsin the development of performance metrics that assess professionalliability and organizational exposure

Appliesactuarial techniques in simulation, modeling, and forecasting to supportrisk assessment and strategic decision-making

Supportsthe implementation of automated solutions to streamline repetitive tasksand enhance efficiency

Willassume responsibility for providing guidance to direct reports to supporttheir development and align priorities with corporate objectives; peopleleadership responsibilities will be implemented at a later date

Createsand supports a team culture of continuous improvement and a workenvironment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and inclusion

Education And Experience MinimumBachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Sciences; a comparable field of study maybe considered

Successfulcompletion of ACAS Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society

specializes in property and casualty insurance

Minimumof 8 years of progressive work experience in the actuarial field





Minimumof 1 year of experience leading and managing a team of actuarialprofessionals

Strongaptitude for quickly learning and utilizing new computer applications andsystems

Strongknowledge of financial reporting practice, valuation and ratemaking

Workingknowledge of data analytics or data programming language preferred

Experiencewith organizing and delivering informative, thorough, and professionalpresentations to all audiences

Abilityto communicate complex financial information and concepts to anon-technical audience

Experienceworking with senior management, executive decision-makers, and externalstakeholders

Experiencewith successfully delivering cross-functional projects and changeinitiatives

Provenability to lead and engage a team of professionals, ability to coach,mentor, and motivate staff to achieve organizational and individual goals
