Italian Language Instructor Open To: Open Competition Job Location: On-line delivery Position Type / Hours: Temporary, 2.5 hours Saturday Mornings, September 26, 2026 to May 15, 2027, 9:00 am to 11:30 am, excluding holiday weekends Annual Compensation: $31.53 + 4% per hour Specific duties and responsibilities include: Under the direction of the Supervisor of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Continuing Education School, the International & Indigenous Languages Instructor is responsible for the delivery of the Board’s International & Indigenous Languages program in the one of the following languages, Italian.

Skills and Qualifications: Grade 12 Diploma or equivalency.

Demonstrated experience in working with children in a learning environment.

Proven ability to work in both a cooperative and independent environment.

Ensuring a positive and safe learning environment for all students, staff and members of the public.

Be responsible for following the curriculum as well as making lesson plans, planning activities for children.

Attending all necessary virtual meetings as they relate to the program Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Demonstrated proficiency with computers. (Training in D2L delivery and technology provided) First Aid Certification would be an asset.
