Join Canadian Specialty Castings as a Foundry Worker, where you'll utilize your skills in grinding, mould making, and furnace operation. This role requires knowledge of various materials and a focus on safety and quality.
In this hands-on position, you will operate grinding machines, perform mould making, and ensure quality melting procedures are strictly followed. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting. Familiarity with welding and heavy machinery is a plus to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate grinding machines and perform sandblasting
• Make sand moulds and assemble cores accurately
• Assist with shakeout and pouring processes
• Ensure general maintenance of the work area
• Follow detailed product drawings for specifications
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ experience in foundry operations
• Knowledge of induction furnace operations and safety protocols
• Robust attention to detail and quality assurance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical demands
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
