In this role, you will engage effectively with supported individuals, advocating for their rights and choices. Your compassionate nature and teamwork skills will help foster independence among residents, while you play a key role in implementing Personal Service Plans. You’ll also be instrumental in building positive relationships with families and community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for individuals’ rights and choices
• Empower community participants to engage fully
• Support daily living activities and medication administration
• Develop and document Personal Service Plans
• Maintain a clean and safe living workplace
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Community Support Worker Diploma
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in social services or healthcare
• First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Criminal record clearance and TB test
• Moderate computer literacy
