Avana is searching for Skilled Construction Labourers for residential projects. This in office role involves manual labour, teamwork, and supporting various construction tasks daily.

As a Skilled Construction Labourer at Avana, you will play a vital role in our residential construction efforts. Reporting to the Construction Lead and Site Superintendent, your responsibilities will include maintaining job site safety and tidiness while assisting in building operations. This position is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a safety-focused environment and pursue a career in the trades.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean construction sites of materials and refuse
• Maintain cleanliness of homes under construction




• Construct and install temporary sidewalks and handrails
• Install appliances and lock sets as needed
• Support Carpenters and complete other assigned tasks

Requirements:
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Physically capable of manual labour up to 50 lbs
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Must provide own tools and CSA-approved boots
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
