As a Foreperson, you will manage daily operations for construction crews working on shallow utilities. Your responsibilities include organizing HDD, trenching, and cable placement while ensuring compliance with design specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as well as a deep understanding of safety regulations and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct daily activities of laborers and equipment operators
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety assessments
• Read and interpret construction plans for utility projects
• Verify installation meets client specifications and standards
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately
Requirements:
• Valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license; Class 3 is an asset
• 3-5 years experience in telecommunications or utilities
• Proven leadership in managing diverse job sites
• Valid Ground Disturbance Level II certification
• Solid understanding of construction safety protocols
