Job Summary: The Business Analyst role involves providing comprehensive I⁢ business analysis services to clients with diverse business and technological needs.

The analyst will engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and project methodologies.

This role supports business improvements through process reengineering, feasibility studies, and the development of business cases, while facilitating workshops and managing change processes to deliver effective technology solutions.

Responsibilities: Lead and conduct business analysis to assess client business problems and opportunities.

Gather, document, and confirm business requirements through workshops, interviews, and modeling techniques.

Prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards.

Develop strategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies for I⁢ initiatives.

Apply re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements and cost-effective service delivery.

Align business analysis activities with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology and related standards.

Create user stories and support UX, functional, and technical design development within Agile frameworks.

Monitor progress, resolve problems, and report regularly to management and stakeholders.

Develop performance measures and traceability matrices for evaluation and follow-up.

Manage change processes including impact analysis, training, and communication strategies.

Participate in requests for proposals focusing on client requirements and vendor evaluations.

Oversee production support and configuration management related to business solutions.





Required Skills: Experience leading workshops to elicit and document business requirements and process reengineering.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to break down complex requirements into manageable deliverables.

Proficiency in creating user stories and supporting UX, functional, and technical design alignment.

Experience on medium to large-sized projects as a business analyst or functional consultant.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, verbal and written communication skills.

Experience developing business cases from start to finish including cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies.

Familiarity with enterprise business architectural concepts to ensure technology alignment with standards.

Proficiency with business analysis and project management tools such as Dev

Ops, MS Visio, and modeling software.

Experience in quality assurance methodologies and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Ability to manage change processes and support end-user adoption through training and communication.

Desired Skills: Experience with information retrieval packages and Information Management principles.

Knowledge of business functional modeling, event modeling, process mapping, and use case development.

Experience with structured, object-oriented, and agile methodologies for user requirements.





Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related standards.

Familiarity with user-centered design principles and prototyping tools such as Figma.

Experience in budget estimation, ROI assessments, and risk management throughout project lifecycles.

Robust interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to adapt to dynamic business environments and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
