Lead the Economic Development department at Leduc County as an experienced Manager. Drive strategic initiatives, foster partnerships, and enhance community growth while promoting innovation and efficiency.

In this permanent full time position, your expertise will guide the implementation of economic development strategies and achieve organizational objectives. You will manage staff, develop budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of programs. Your leadership will be instrumental in attracting investment and enhancing collaboration within the Edmonton Metropolitan Region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement economic development plans and directives
• Manage service area deliverables and support staff effectively
• Establish partnerships with stakeholders in the Edmonton Region




• Create performance measurement criteria for economic initiatives
• Drive investment attraction and business retention activities

Requirements:
• Degree in business or economic development
• Five years’ municipal experience with councils and industries
• Membership eligibility with Economic Developers Alberta or EDAC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
• Knowledge of rural community operations is beneficial
