Join Alamos Gold Inc. as a Haul Truck Operator at the Island Gold Mine in Dubreuilville, Ontario. This role focuses on secure operation of heavy equipment in a team-oriented mining environment.
Alamos Gold Inc. is looking for experienced Haul Truck Operators for a 14-day on/off rotation. The successful candidate will safely haul and dump ore and waste while ensuring efficient mine operations. This position requires a strong commitment to health and safety as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate haul trucks to transport ore and waste
• Maintain equipment according to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient mine operations
• Communicate clearly regarding operational needs
• Adhere to health and safety practices at all times
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid G class driver’s license
• 3-5 years heavy equipment operation experience
• Knowledge of WHMIS and Safety Data Sheets
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 14/14 rotation
