Reporting to the Area Manager or Supervisor, this role acts as the business liaison between product lines, field service representatives (technicians/engineers), and the customer during the execution of regional project orders.
Position: Bilingual Service Coordinator, CPDI Market-competitive salary Location: Toronto, ON Onsite role 3 month contract (Potential of extension/Conversion) Advantages - Salary: $35.00 / hour - Contract Duration: 3-month contract (strong potential for extension or permanent conversion based on volume and performance) - Location: Toronto, ON - Work Model: 100% Onsite - Schedule: Full-time hours (Monday to Friday, standard daytime hours) Responsibilities Act as a customer advocate by conveying the appropriate level of urgency to operational contacts and escalating issues to management when necessary.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers within the assigned territory or vertical segment.
Adopt and assist in the deployment of all corporate initiatives, such as Lean (e.g., 5S), MESH, and EBS.
Work with the team to achieve continuous improvement goals, particularly regarding productivity, quality, and safety.
Promote proactive project management through accurate and timely communication with internal partners (field service technicians, contracts team) and external customers regarding schedule status, expediting, change orders, logistics, and financial order management.
Work in compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations.
Participate in departmental lean manufacturing initiatives by utilizing Lean tools and philosophies:
Identify improvements for workstations and departmental layout Identify cost-saving opportunities for the facility Identify opportunities to improve continuous flow Reduce material handling Improve overall efficiency and product quality Maintain Lean awareness through visual and verbal communication Coordinate with Lean associates in an ongoing effort to sustain Lean progress Manage daily phone and email activities; provide guidance, solutions, and updates, including backup support for colleagues as needed Demonstrate proficiency in proactively supporting complex orders Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience (corporate customer service or project management role preferred). - Languages: Full professional bilingual proficiency in English and French (oral and written) to interact daily with Canadian clients outside Quebec. - Software & Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power
Point, Share
Point) and solid typing/computer literacy. - Prior exposure to electrical power distribution equipment and industrial control products is a strong asset. - Exceptional interpersonal skills, creative problem solving, conflict resolution, and the organizational capacity to balance high transaction volumes. - Education:
High school diploma required; College diploma or University degree strongly preferred.
