Role Description
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational advisor to designated business units, delivering high-impact HR solutions that foster a high-performance, employee-centric culture. With deep knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and hands‑on experience in SuccessFactors, the HRBP drives initiatives in talent management, employee relations, performance development, and organizational effectiveness. This role is pivotal in ensuring HR operational excellence and aligning people strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with leaders to drive employee engagement, development, and retention strategies.

Provide expert guidance on performance management, employee relations, and conflictresolution.

Lead investigations and manage complex employee matters in collaboration with Legal and HRleadership.

Administer and support leave management, disability accommodations, and return-to-workprograms.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely and inclusive hiring practices.

Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience.

Advise on compensation, job evaluations, and pay equity in partnership with Total Rewards.

Champion employee satisfaction initiatives and support action planning based on survey results.

Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, policy interpretation, and employee support.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with employment laws and internalpolicies.

Support HR projects related to training, branding, and organizational development.

Qualifications
Formal Education

Required : College Diploma in Human Resources or related field





Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration

CHRP designation or working towards certification is an asset

Experience

Minimum 7+ years of progressive HR experience in Ontario, with a strong generalist background Proven experience with SAP SuccessFactors (e.g., recruitment, performance management, employee data, reporting)

Demonstrated success in attracting, hiring, retaining top talent

Achievements driving continuous improvement intiatives

Core Competencies

In-depth knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices

Strong employee-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence

Proficiency with occupational health and safety legislation and compliance requirements

Exceptional coaching, influencing, and relationship-building skills

High proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (SuccessFactors required)

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset

Work Flexibility

Hybrid remote with on-site presence required 3+ in-office days per week

Flexible work hours with some overtime during peak periods

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Exposure to sensitive employee relations matters requiring emotional resilience

Performance Metrics

Timely and compliant execution of HR processes

Stakeholder satisfaction and feedback

Contribution to employee engagement and retention

Quality and accuracy of HR documentation and reporting

Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications. The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $105,000, actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and internal compensation practices. Why You’ll Love Working Here
