Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in Calgary, Alberta.

This role supports purchasing and day-to-day operational activities by coordinating orders, communicating with suppliers and internal teams, and helping ensure timely and accurate processing.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities: Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of materials, cost control, and appropriate inventory levels.

Prepare and manage purchase orders and stock transfer documentation, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, terms, and delivery requirements.

Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to track orders, resolve delays, and ensure timely product movement.

Maintain effective supplier relationships by confirming orders,



coordinating deliveries, managing documentation, and monitoring service performance.

Investigate and resolve invoice, pricing, quantity, freight, shortage, damage, and receiving discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.

Monitor supplier performance, including delivery reliability, responsiveness, service levels, and compliance with agreed terms.

Respond to internal and customer inquiries regarding orders, returns, warranties, and delivery issues, coordinating timely resolutions.

Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, supplier, and invoice records in accordance with established procedures and controls.

Support additional procurement and operational activities as required, with a focus on service quality, accuracy, cost efficiency, and process improvement.
