Advance your nursing career with KHSC as a Nurse Practitioner in the Inherited Bleeding Disorder Program. This temporary full-time role focuses on managing adult patients with VTE and bleeding disorders.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will join a dedicated interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and follow-up care. Your responsibilities will include managing anticoagulation therapy, conducting clinical assessments, and collaborating on treatment plans for various hematologic conditions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes by improving access to timely care and continuity for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and manage patients with venous thromboembolism
• Provide anticoagulation monitoring and education
• Collaborate on individualized care plans with team members
• Coordinate outpatient procedures for bleeding disorder patients
• Support clinical triage and urgent care needs
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (Extended Class) with CNO
• BScN or equivalent nursing degree
• Minimum two years’ NP experience, preferably in hematology
• Advanced clinical knowledge in VTE and inherited disorders
• Robust interpersonal and organizational skills
