Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Experience an asset Work setting Apartment/condominium complex Urban area Office building Various locations Health care institution, facility or clinic Residential Construction site Retirement home Restaurant Troubleshooting Repair and maintenance services Level of expertise Maintenance and repair Tasks Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs Empty trash cans and other waste containers Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment Perform safety and security checks Supervise other workers Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair Work with minimal supervision Utilize hand and power tools Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Work under pressure Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Ability to work independently Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Dependability Organized Reliability Screening questions Are you available to start on the date listed in the job posting?
