Starting October 19, 2026, this position requires 32.5 hours of work each week across three schools: Fort Saskatchewan High School, Rudolph Hennig Junior High, and SouthPointe School. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing community resources to families in need. Ideal candidates will have experience in educational environments and a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a school caseload and provide family support
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and risk screenings
• Collaborate with school teams to deliver trauma-informed workshops
• Connect families with external mental health services
• Maintain accurate, confidential case records
Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work preferred; Bachelor’s required
• 3-5 years social work experience with children and families
• ACSW valuable standing and necessary certifications
• Experience in multi-agency settings preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and cultural practices
