This unique role focuses on working with Indigenous cultures in a collaborative setting involving therapists, psychologists, and educators. The hybrid model requires travel to support northern communities, enhancing accessibility and intervention services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals for comprehensive care
• Implement trauma-informed and neurodiverse practices
• Provide support using AAC tools where applicable
• Engage with Indigenous communities and culturally responsive approaches
• Adapt flexible schedule based on availability
Requirements:
• Registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Canada
• Experience with northern community work or willingness to learn
• Strong commitment to inclusive schooling practices
• Competency in AAC preferred
• Open to full-time, part-time, or casual arrangements
