**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
As a Machine Operator, you will run your own production line, primarily operating slitting machines.

Your role involves setting up the machine with knives and clearances to ensure the finished product is produced efficiently.

The role requires handling coils of rolled steel, with the heaviest setting involving lifting up to 25 lbs.

Safety is paramount due to the sharpness of cut steel.

Additionally, you may be required to operate a forklift and an overhead crane, as well as package products for shipping.
**Responsibilities**
Operate and manage slitting machines.

Set up machines with appropriate knives and clearances.

Ensure the quality of the finished product.

Lift and handle up to 25 lbs. safely.

Operate forklift and overhead crane as needed.

Package products for shipping.
**Essential Skills**
Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.

Minimum of 2 years machine operating experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Slitting experience is advantageous.

Experience with rolled steel is beneficial.

Forklift operation skills are preferred.

Overhead crane experience is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
