Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a leading organization on a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.

This role is responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, analyze processes, and translate requirements into effective technology solutions.

The Business Systems Analyst will act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, supporting requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, data migration activities, and solution delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative, and skilled at facilitating discussions that drive consensus and project success.

This role is primarily remote, with a requirement to attend the Vaughan office twice per month.

Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and process mapping exercises to define current and future-state workflows
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Create process flow diagrams, business requirements documents, and solution specifications
• Translate business requirements into clear documentation for technical delivery teams and vendors
• Support data migration initiatives by documenting data mapping requirements and conversion rules
• Assist with vendor evaluations and procurement activities, including requirements and scoring documentation
• Develop project artifacts such as governance documents, procedures, and disaster recovery plans as required




• Communicate requirements and proposed solutions to both business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Review project scopes and assist with estimating Business Systems Analyst effort and deliverables
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the growth of the BSA practice
• Support the ongoing improvement of BSA methodologies, standards, tools, and processes across the organization
Skills and Requirements
• 5–7 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role supporting enterprise projects and initiatives
• Extensive experience with business process mapping, process re-engineering, and process modeling methodologies
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, including live process mapping and discovery sessions
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear solution requirements for both business and technical teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, including creating process flow diagrams and requirements documentation
• Experience developing data mapping and conversion rules for data migration initiatives
• Ability to build consensus among business and IT stakeholders and manage competing priorities
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies,



Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and project delivery best practices
• Experience working in fast-paced project environments with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives
• Experience supporting vendor evaluations, RFP processes, and procurement-related initiatives
• Experience creating governance documentation, operating procedures, disaster recovery plans, or other project artifacts
• Prior experience mentoring junior Business Analysts or Business Systems Analysts
• Background working within professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environments
• Experience supporting infrastructure, business systems, or digital transformation projects
• College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
