Elevate communication skills at the Durham District School Board as a Speech Language Pathologist. Collaborate with educators, implement interventions, and assess students' needs in a supportive environment.
This role focuses on assessing, planning, and executing individualized interventions for students with communication and language challenges. Work directly with school teams and families to enhance student growth and learning through targeted strategies. You'll also present workshops and provide data-driven reports while collaborating efficiently in a multidisciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess students and interpret speech and language needs
• Plan and implement targeted interventions in various settings
• Document progress and maintain confidential files
• Instruct educators and provide workshops for community partners
• Collaborate with outside agencies to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current CASLPO registration and valid Ontario driver’s license
• Experience in pediatric settings preferable
• Robust communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices
